Job Opportunity: Night Shift ER Nurse (Nursing Specialty)

Location: Lake Isabella, California
Employment Type: Contract
Shift: Nights (1900-0730), specifically Thursday, Friday, Saturday nights

Job Description

• Provide patient care in an emergency setting with initiative, flexibility, and minimal supervision
• Perform safe, rapid, and accurate triage
• Communicate patient status effectively with physicians
• Willingness to cross-train and float to other nursing departments, including Med Surg, as needed

Required Qualifications

• Current California RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years recent ER nursing experience preferred (use 2 years as required experience)
• Ability to pass nursing medication test
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills; professional and respectful interaction with patients, staff, and others
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Electronic Medical Records preferred

Contract Length

• 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

Additional Notes

• Must be willing to float to Med Surg if needed
