**Exciting Opportunity for Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery!** **Job Description:** - **Unit:** Obstetrics - **Profession:** Registered Nurse - **Specialty:** Labor and Delivery - **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) - **Years of Experience:** Minimum of 2 years required, preferring candidates with precepting experience. - **Patient Ratio Experience:** 1:3 during Days, Nights, and Weekends - **Charting System:** Epic (Required) - **Travel Experience:** Strong experience as a seasoned traveler is a must. **Certifications (Required):** - ACLS - AWHONN Intermediate - BLS - NRP **Preferred Certifications:** - AWHONN Advanced **Skills (Required):** - Labor and Delivery experience - Post-partum experience - Triage of obstetrical patients - Fetal Monitoring - Use of IUPC (Intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration - IV therapy/Phlebotomy - Maintain central lines (CVC/PICC) - Medication Administration (including anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensives, insulin drips, magnesium sulfate therapy) - Circulate for C-section - Perform sterile vaginal exams - Isolation Precautions/PPE **Work Environment:** - Facility Births/Month: 200-300 - Daily Census: 12 - Number of Rooms: 10 - Number of Beds: 10 - Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Adults - RTO (Requests for Time Off): Up to 2 requests allowed - Orientation Hours: 36 **Additional Information:** - Potential to adjust to 4x12 shifts upon request. - Required to float between like units. - No local candidates or pending licenses accepted. - RTO must be included at the time of submission. - Guaranteed hours: the facility can call off once per two-week pay period. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
