Description

Job Opportunity: RN - Tele (Travel)

Location: San Antonio, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide routine and complex nursing care independently in a clinical setting. Manage patient care with long-range planning and delegation as needed. Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitor effectiveness and side effects, and document all care provided. Educate patients, families, and caregivers based on assessed learning needs.

Patient Population

Rehab patients (9th floor)
Surgical and respiratory patients (11th floor)
Mixed patient census across floors

Work Schedule

Full Time
Day Shift: 7 AM – 7 PM

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of telemetry nursing experience within the last year
Med Surg experience

Licenses & Certifications

Valid RN license in Texas
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
