Job Opportunity: Night Shift ER Nurse

Location: Lake Isabella, California
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide patient care in an emergency setting with initiative, flexibility, and minimal supervision.
• Perform safe, rapid, and accurate triage.
• Communicate patient status effectively with physicians.
• Willingness to cross-train and float to other nursing departments, including Med Surg, as needed.
• Night shift hours: 1900-0730, specifically Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.

Required Qualifications

• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years recent Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a nursing medication test.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Good interpersonal skills to interact professionally and respectfully with patients, staff, and others.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Electronic Medical Records preferred.

Additional Notes

• No prior travel experience explicitly required.
• Must be willing to float to Medical-Surgical units if needed.
