**Join Our Dynamic Team as an Ultrasound Technologist!** **Job Description:** - Are you ready to take your career in imaging to the next level? - As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will perform a variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures. - Support your fellow imaging technologists and help facilitate a smooth and efficient patient flow. - Operate and set up state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment with confidence. - Be flexible and adaptable by working varying shifts and across multiple campuses as needed. - Troubleshoot basic maintenance issues and participate in Quality Assurance (QA) activities. - Resolve image processing challenges and manage the image archiving system effectively. - Engage in ongoing education and stay updated on safety and technical advances within your scope of practice. - Maintain imaging competencies as outlined by management while aligning your behavior and communication with our mission, values, and culture. **Key Responsibilities:** - Exemplify the OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. - Adhere to the Core Values of CHRISTUS Health. - Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, appropriate dress, and positive attitude. - Collaborate with management, coworkers, and physicians to foster staff growth, development, and an optimal work environment. - Promote exceptional physician satisfaction by assisting radiologists and referring physicians. - Adapt patient assessments and care methods to meet the unique needs of each patient. - Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and standards of care as dictated by regulatory entities. - Perform examinations and procedures as needed to enhance patient throughput. - Ensure exams are correctly scanned and stored in PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System). - Act as a PACS Superuser and follow downtime procedures effectively. - Report any equipment malfunctions and perform appropriate follow-ups. - Embrace additional duties as assigned to contribute to team success. **Job Requirements:** - Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology or equivalent. - Experience: - 1 year of ultrasound scanning experience preferred. - Basic computer skills required. - Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications: - Required: Sonography (S) by ARRT, Abdomen (AB) RDMS by ARDMS, Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) RDMS by ARDMS. - Preferred: Vascular Sonography (VS) by ARRT, Breast Sonography (BS) by ARRT, Breast (BR) RDMS by ARDMS, Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS, Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS. - BLS certification required (AHA only). **Work Schedule:** - Rotating Matrix, 8AM - 8PM **Work Type:** - Full Time **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
