Travel Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse – New York Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Travel Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity, fast-paced hospital in New York. This role requires strong clinical skills, prior travel experience, and the ability to work with diverse patient populations across all age groups. Job Details Unit: Emergency Department Shift: 2:30 PM – 3:00 AM (Block scheduling is not guaranteed) Contract Type: Travel Local Candidates: Accepted (local rate applies for candidates within 75 miles) Floating: Required Scrub Color: Navy Blue Unit Overview Total Beds: 64 40 Acute 10 CDU 6 Super Track 6 Psych 2 Trauma 2 Triage Patient Population: Newborn, Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatric Common Diagnoses: Stroke Sepsis Trauma Myocardial Infarction (MI) Cardiac Arrest Respiratory Failure Specialty Equipment: Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun Requirements Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department (ED) experience Pediatric experience required Travel nursing experience REQUIRED Charge Nurse experience highly preferred Experience with EPIC EMR required Certifications (Required) Active RN License – New York (NY) AHA Certifications: BLS ACLS PALS NIHSS Certification TNCC (must be in hand at time of submission)
