Job Opportunity: Emergency Department RN (Night/Evening Shift)

Location: Greenbrae, California
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for night and evening shifts. This is a Level 3 Trauma Center with STEMI and Stroke receiving capabilities. The ED has 31 beds including 5 resuscitation bays, with an average daily volume of 100+ patients, approximately 15% pediatric.

Shifts: 12-hour shifts with start times varying between 1:00 PM, 3:00 PM, and 7:00 PM
Orientation week is not subject to a 36-hour guarantee
Up to 36 hours of call off available during the assignment

Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in California
Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) required
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) preferred
Experience in trauma nursing
Strong knowledge of pediatric patient care

Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in nursing specialty (Emergency Department/Trauma)
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
