Description

Radiology Tech CT (Night Shift)

Location: Moses Lake, Washington
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 12:30 pm – 9:00 pm
Perform Computed Tomography (CT) exams with and without power contrast injections
Use automatic exposure control and adjust technical factors (kvp, ma, time, distance) appropriately
Employ proper positioning techniques and follow radiologist protocols
Assist attending physicians during exams
Administer contrast media and start IVs as needed
Handle patient transport, transfer, and positioning safely
Evaluate patients’ mental and physical condition to ensure safety
Document patient and image information accurately in HIS/RIS and PACS systems
Perform SBAR communication and use AIDET techniques
May be assigned on-call standby shifts as needed
Mentor students from Radiology Technology Programs
Maintain professional growth through seminars, workshops, and affiliations
Follow safety practices including infection control, safe lifting, and emergency procedures
Maintain professional appearance and conduct

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in Washington
Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification
Registered Technologist RT(R) (CT)
Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
