Job Opportunity: Speech Language Pathologist

Location: Thornton, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 11 weeks

Job Description

Position available to cover a leave of absence.
Dates: August 18, 2026 – October 30, 2026.
Population served: Kindergarten through 5th grade students.
Caseload: Approximately 40 students, shared among multiple SLPs.
Support: Additional Speech Language Pathologists available in the building.

Required Qualifications

Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Colorado

Additional Requirements

Completion of various accounting and facility-specific documents prior to start.
Annual acknowledgment of orientation safety manual.
Compliance with FERPA regulations and confidentiality agreements.
Candidates must be cleared to work on school property, with no disqualifying criminal history related to child safety.
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.

Caseload & Support

Caseload is approximately 40 students, distributed among multiple SLPs.
Collaborative work environment with other SLPs in the building.

Notes

This is a short-term contract position covering a leave of absence.
Candidate must be prepared to comply with all Colorado state educational and health service regulations.
Face masks are required on site; COVID vaccination is not required by the client.
