Description
Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Infusion
Location: West Hollywood, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant Registered Nurse experience
- License: Active California RN License required at time of submission (no pending licenses)
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC) required
- OCN certification preferred
- Special Requirements: Experience with EPIC system required
- Prior Travel Experience: Not accepted for first-time travelers (prior travel experience required)
- Weekend Requirement: 6-8 weekend shifts per contract
- Floating: Not required
- On-Call: Not required
- Scheduling Requests: No scheduling requests can be accommodated
Required Qualifications & Compliance
- Must pass a comprehensive background check including criminal history, education verification, and drug screening
- Physical exam within 1 year confirming ability to meet essential job functions
- Fit mask test (N95 or equivalent) within 1 year, updated annually
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (with additional requirements if history of positive TB)
- Up-to-date immunizations including:
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
- Hepatitis B (vaccine series, titer, or declination)
- Varicella (chickenpox)
- Seasonal flu vaccination (mandatory during flu season)
- Completion of medication and EKG competency exams during orientation
- Completion of facility-specific onboarding documents and attestations including job hazard analysis, code of conduct, social media policy, and scheduling guidelines
- Professional references: 2 required, with at least 1 supervisory reference
Additional Notes
- Must comply with all facility-specific policies and training requirements
- Photo for badge must meet strict guidelines (passport-style photo) and be approved prior to start date
- Fire card training required within first 6 months of assignment
- Candidates must complete all required lab work within 48 hours of contract signing
- No accommodations for scheduling requests; weekend shifts are mandatory as specified
This position is ideal for experienced infusion Registered Nurses with prior travel contract experience who are licensed in California and meet the certification and compliance requirements listed above.
