Cath Lab Tech Travel/Contract Job in Tyler, Texas

Job Details

Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Location: Tyler, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, plus every 4th weekend
Call: Rotated approximately every 4th weekday and every 4th weekend; call includes up to 6 hours of work on Saturdays for scheduled inpatient procedures

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Texas
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ARRT R (Registered Radiologic Technologist) certification
CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) certification

Key Compliance and Documentation Requirements

I-9 verification
Driver’s License or State ID
E-Verify compliance
7-year background check (including SS trace, county searches, nationwide, sex offender, education verification)
Education verification (highest level)
Physical exam within 12 months of start
Fit mask test within 1 year of start (annual renewal required)
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
Required immunizations/vaccinations with proper documentation:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Measles (Rubeola)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
- Seasonal Flu vaccine or approved exemption during flu season
Negative 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
Photo for badge
Skills checklist and work history verification (7 years)

Additional Notes

Call schedule includes some weekend and Saturday work
Candidates residing in certain Texas counties are not eligible for travel contracts in this location
Orientation and safety manual acknowledgment required
Competency exams and color blindness testing may be required as applicable
