Cath Lab Tech Travel/Contract Job in Tyler, Texas
Job Details
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Location: Tyler, Texas
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, plus every 4th weekend
- Call: Rotated approximately every 4th weekday and every 4th weekend; call includes up to 6 hours of work on Saturdays for scheduled inpatient procedures
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Texas
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ARRT R (Registered Radiologic Technologist) certification
- CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) certification
Key Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- I-9 verification
- Driver’s License or State ID
- E-Verify compliance
- 7-year background check (including SS trace, county searches, nationwide, sex offender, education verification)
- Education verification (highest level)
- Physical exam within 12 months of start
- Fit mask test within 1 year of start (annual renewal required)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
- Required immunizations/vaccinations with proper documentation:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Measles (Rubeola)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
- Seasonal Flu vaccine or approved exemption during flu season
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
- Photo for badge
- Skills checklist and work history verification (7 years)
- Employment application/resume
Additional Notes
- Call schedule includes some weekend and Saturday work
- Candidates residing in certain Texas counties are not eligible for travel contracts in this location
- Orientation and safety manual acknowledgment required
- Competency exams and color blindness testing may be required as applicable
