Physical Therapist Assistant (Outpatient) - Mississippi

Location

• Ecru, Mississippi (near Holly Springs, MS)

Employment Type

• Contract
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Days, 5x8 hour shifts per week
• May be open to 4x10 hour shifts (to be discussed during interview)
• Approximately 40 hours per week

Patient Population & Caseload

• Adult patients
• 10-12 patient visits per day

Clinical Focus Areas

• Orthopedic conditions including:

  • Achilles Tendonitis
  • ACL Tear
  • Post-operative Back Pain
  • Calf Strain
  • Disc Herniation
  • Fractures/Stress Fractures
  • Generalized Low Back Pain
  • Meniscus Tear
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Osteoporosis
  • Plantar fasciitis
  • Postural Dysfunction
  • Rotator Cuff (Non-surgical and Post-operative care)
  • SI Joint Dysfunction
  • Stenosis
  • Total Joint Replacement
• Neurological conditions including:

  • Degenerative Diseases
  • Parkinson’s Disease

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in Mississippi
• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy Assistant experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Additional Information

• Dress code: Business casual; must wear a polo shirt and khaki pants
• New graduates are considered but at a reduced pay rate (not included here)
• Documentation and assignment management handled through a specific electronic system (details provided upon offer)
