Description

Registered Nurse (Emergency Room) - Night Shift

Location: Lake Isabella, California
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Shift (1900-0730) on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Provide patient care in an emergency setting with initiative, flexibility, and minimal supervision.
Perform rapid, safe, and accurate triage.
Communicate patient status effectively with physicians.
Willingness to cross-train and float to Medical-Surgical units as needed.
Operate Electronic Medical Records systems (experience with T-System and CPSI preferred).

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
BLS certification
ACLS certification
PALS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Certifications (not required but beneficial)

CPI, ENPC, RNFA, TNCC, AWHONN, NIHSS, STABLE, ASLS, NBSTSA, APHON, CMA, CCMA, RMA, C-EFM

Additional Information

Holiday pay applies for New Year, Thanksgiving, and Christmas only.
Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
