Description

Radiologic Technologist - CT/XR

Location: Decorah, Iowa
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks (minimum)
Shift: Primarily 1st Shift (Monday-Friday daytime hours), with possible occasional 2nd shift or weeknight call for urgent/emergent coverage
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Job Description

Operate radiologic equipment to produce quality diagnostic images.
Perform routine and emergency diagnostic procedures including surgery, general radiography, portable radiography, and computed tomography (CT).
Complete related clerical and patient care duties as required.
Participate in weekend on-call/coverage rotation (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) with time off around the weekend. No weeknight call unless urgent/emergent coverage is needed.

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in Iowa
Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification
ARRT (CT) certification
Experience as a Radiology Technologist and X-Ray Technician

Additional Information

This is a full-time contract position.
Weekend coverage is required on a rotating basis.
May be asked to work occasional 2nd shifts or weeknight call in urgent situations.
