Director Occupational Therapy

Location: King City, California
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Provide clinical oversight of the Occupational Therapy Department staff.
• Oversee and coordinate clinical education and competency processes for Occupational Therapy staff, including direct supervision of certified Occupational Therapy assistants (COTAs) and Rehabilitation Technicians.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and professional standards.
• Manage Occupational Therapy policy and procedure manual covering scope of care, evaluation/treatment standards, discharge planning, and documentation.
• Evaluate and treat patients approximately 80% of the time.
• Assist with program development and administrative tasks about 20% of the time.
• Function in accordance with the California State Practice Act.
• Work 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, with possible requirement to work every other Saturday.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in California

Additional Information

• Housing in King City can be somewhat difficult to find. Temporary options may be available for 2-4 weeks until permanent housing is secured.
• Overtime applies for hours worked over 40 per week.
• Shift length: 8 hours.
• Start date: June 22, 2026.
