Pediatric Acute RN Nights - Contract Position

Location: Tuba City, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM (7 shifts per pay period)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Provide nursing care independently for patients of all ages, following physician orders, nursing standards, and hospital policies.
• Support patients and their families through various nursing procedures tailored to specific patient conditions and treatments.
• Work in a culturally diverse environment serving Native American communities (Navajo, Hopi, Southern Paiute) and others.
• Facility offers comprehensive inpatient/outpatient emergency services and various specialty services including pediatrics and surgery.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Arizona
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 3 years of Pediatric Medical-Surgical nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Pediatrics experience
• Current certifications (must be maintained throughout employment):

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – American Heart Association

Additional Information

• Orientation sessions occur every 2 weeks.
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination exemptions may be accepted upon submission of a declination form.
• Limited shared housing available at $600/month (no family or pets allowed); housing application must be submitted 2 weeks prior to start.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required.
• Prior travel experience is not specified as a requirement.
