Job Description:

- Join a dynamic team as a Registered Nurse in our Gastrointestinal Lab!
- Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30)
- Experience required: Minimum of 3 years in GI nursing
- Charting System: Epic (familiarity required)
- Community hospital experience preferred but not mandatory
- No travel experience required

**Certifications:**
- Required: BLS, ACLS
- Preferred: CGRN*

**Skills:** 
- Professional Knowledge &amp; Skills
 - Administering Conscious Sedation
 - Monitoring Conscious Sedation
 - Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias
 - Specimen Handling/Labeling
 - Post-Procedure Care

- Equipment Proficiency
 - Balloon Dilators
 - Bronchoscopy supplies* (cart &amp; instruments)
 - Electrosurgical units
 - Lithotripters*
 - Foreign body equipment*

- Procedure Experience
 - Bronchoscopy*
 - Colonoscopy
 - EGD
 - Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS)*
 - Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)*
 - ERCP*
 - Esophageal varices and banding*
 - Sclerotherapy*

- Work Settings
 - Inpatient
 - Outpatient Endoscopy Center
 - Pre/Post Procedure Areas

**Additional Responsibilities:**
- Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG
- Starting and maintaining IVs
- Medication administration of Opioid Analgesics, Propofol, Reversal agents, Versed

**Schedule:**
- Patient Ratios: 1:1 during the day
- Float Required: Yes (preop and phase II PACU, floating to sister ministries)
- Weekend Shifts: None
- Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 Request

**Patient Age Groups:**
- Adults, Geriatrics

**Interdisciplinary Support:**
- Collaborate with IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy

**Special Unit Details:**
- Involvement in preop and phase II PACU
- Advance notice of at least 24 hours for floating to Santa Rosa or Healdsburg
