Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Four 10-hour shifts, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Hours per Week: 36 hours guaranteed
On-Call Requirements:
- 7 to 9 on-call shifts per month, including one weekend
- 30-minute response time to hospital for STEMI calls
- Ability to pick up additional on-call shifts if desired
Job Description
- Circulating and monitoring in the Cath Lab environment
- Experience with STEMI cases and high-risk equipment such as Impella, IABP, and Anari
- Exposure to Electrophysiology (EP) and Interventional Radiology (IR) preferred
- Patient ratio approximately 3:1
- Must be willing to float to an additional nearby facility location
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arizona
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- Circulating experience in cardiac catheterization
- Monitoring experience in cardiac catheterization
- Familiarity with STEMI procedures
- Experience with high-risk equipment including Impella, IABP, and Anari
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Electrophysiology Lab experience
- Interventional Radiology experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel nursing experience is preferred but not required
