- Night shift, 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (21:30 to 7:30)
Job Description
- Work primarily with Emergency Department patients, including trauma cases requiring multiple scans.
- Perform extremity exams and stroke protocol imaging.
- Must be proficient with Siemens equipment and able to work independently.
- Floating between similar units is required.
- Block scheduling may be accommodated at manager's discretion.
- Weekend work requirements unspecified.
- Average daily patient census: 30-50.

Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in California
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Certifications (as applicable)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
- Chemotherapy certification (if applicable)
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification (if applicable)
- IV Certification (if applicable)
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) (if applicable)
- NIH Stroke Certification (required every 2 years)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) (if applicable)

Background and Compliance Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID).
- Social Security Card (as applicable).
- Background check within 90 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually.
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start, updated monthly.
- Education verification required.
- Employment application covering at least last 5 years.
- Minimum of 2 professional references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting.
- Work history verification may be required if reference requirements are not met.
- Various state-specific background checks depending on placement location.
Health and Safety Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO.
- Fit mask test (respirator clearance) required annually; onsite testing available if needed.
- Immunizations and documentation required:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years; declination accepted)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: 2 MMR vaccines or positive titer; declination accepted
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella: 2 vaccines or positive titer; declination accepted
- Seasonal flu vaccine during flu season (declination accepted)
- COVID-19 vaccination record preferred; declinations not required but unvaccinated must follow infection prevention protocols
- 9 Panel Drug Screen within 12 months of start (10-panel for some Per Diem candidates); negative results required.
Additional Requirements
- Must complete annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via assigned LMS.
- Must comply with float policy; may be required to float to other nearby facilities.
- Badge photo required for identification.
