Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech - Vascular
Location: Pocatello, Idaho
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day shift, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (7:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Perform vascular ultrasound studies requiring specialized training and RVT credentialing.
- Studies include arterial, venous, carotid, and graft evaluations.
- High clinical accuracy is critical as results impact emergent medical decisions (e.g., DVT, carotid stenosis, arterial occlusion).
- Local candidates within a 100-mile radius are not accepted.
- First-time travel healthcare workers are welcome.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
- Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year.
- Specialized training in arterial, venous, carotid, and graft studies.
- Experience as a Vascular Sonographer.
Additional Notes
- Prior travel experience is not required.
- This position requires high-stakes clinical accuracy due to the emergent nature of vascular ultrasound findings.
- Candidates must be willing to relocate; local applicants within 100 miles will not be considered.
- Orientation and onboarding may include fingerprinting (specific to certain states).
- Compliance with internal verification systems and documentation is mandatory.
