Work Schedule

• 4 to 10 hours per day, Monday through Friday
• 40 hours per week
• Rotation of weekends and on-call shifts

Job Description

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures using fixed and portable X-ray equipment
• Produce routine and emergent diagnostic images in CT and X-ray rooms
• Adjust exposure settings and patient positioning to acquire optimal images while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA principle)
• Process images in PACS according to Radiologist protocols
• Document, charge, and process exams using electronic medical records
• Schedule patients for various imaging appointments including X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, DXA, and Holter Monitor
• Assist patients with contrast media administration for CT exams
• Participate in quality control activities related to equipment, radiation safety, and patient safety
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of exams
• Provide customer service to patients and staff

Required Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification
• Minimum of 1 year of CT technologist experience within the last year
