Position Details

• Job Title: CT Tech
• Location: Statesboro, Georgia
• Employment Type: Travel Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 3x12 hour night shifts (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday; 7 PM – 7 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
• Conduct special procedures such as angiographic procedures, surgical/sterile procedures, and studies with or without contrast media.
• Provide timely diagnostic services to inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room patients under the direction of a Radiologist.
• Responsible for quality control monitoring, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and maintaining availability and sterility of equipment and supplies.
• Assist physicians and radiologists at a technical level without requiring constant supervision.
• Use of Cerner EMR system preferred.
• Scrub color: Hunter Green.
• No call or floating required.
• No 48-hour guarantees.
• One major and one minor holiday may be required.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
• At least 1 prior successful travel assignment as a CT Technologist.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) – Radiography (R).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
