Description

Echosonographer

Location: Great Falls, Montana
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Job Description

Perform adult transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and dobutamine stress echocardiograms.
Assist in transesophageal echocardiography procedures.
Provide preliminary diagnostic evaluations and notify cardiologists of examination results.
Consult with cardiologists to establish requirements for non-standard exams and determine technical factors.
Participate in call rotation approximately 10-12 days per month, including holiday coverage.
Receive direction from providers and department managers/supervisors.

Schedule

Sunday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Call coverage approximately 10-12 days per month

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Echo Technologist, with experience within the last year.
Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
Current certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) credential.

Additional Information

Prior travel experience is required.
