Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro Trauma ICU (Night Shift)

Location: Chico, California
Employment Type: Contract (13 weeks)
Shift: Night shift, 12-hour shifts starting at 7:00 PM
Hours per Week: 36

Unit & Patient Population

Level II trauma Neuro Trauma/Surgical ICU (NT/SICU)
12-bed unit with a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
Care for neuro/trauma patients including those with ICP monitors, CRRT, and lumbar drains
Float assignments to Cardiovascular Unit, Telemetry Care Unit, ICU/CCU, or Med Surg units as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 5 years of Surgical Trauma Intensive Care (STICU) experience, including experience within the last year
Experience working with Level II Trauma patients
ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience
Previous travel nursing experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Experience with Epic electronic charting

Additional Information

Must be a W-2 employee of the staffing agency
Flexibility to float between Med/Surg and Critical Care units as needed
