Job Opportunity: Speech Language Pathologist
Location: Thornton, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 10 weeks
Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Population Served: Students in grades K through 8
Job Description
- Provide speech-language pathology services for school-aged children (K-8) during a leave of absence coverage period from August 4, 2026, to October 21, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Colorado.
Certifications & Verifications
- State license verification must be completed twice: upon receipt of assignment and 30 days prior to start.
- Official transcripts or diplomas related to the position are required.
- Orientation Safety Manual acknowledgment required annually.
- Drug testing, physical exams, TB testing, and immunizations (e.g., flu, COVID, measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella) are only required if specified by the client or state.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is not required by the client for this position.
Additional Requirements
- Candidate must complete all required accounting and employment documents such as W4, tax declarations, direct deposit authorization, emergency contact form, and arbitration agreement.
- References and employment applications are only required if requested by the client.
- Competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests are not required unless specifically requested by the client.
Experience

- No prior travel experience required for this assignment.
Notes
- Face masks are required on site; COVID vaccination is not required.
- Fingerprint and background check results with unclear arrest outcomes require official documentation from the candidate.
