Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel/Contract
Location
- Anchorage, Alaska
Assignment Details
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift: 3x12 hour shifts, primarily night shift (19:00 - 7:30)
- Hours: 36 hours per week (60 hours per 2 weeks guaranteed, with possible call-off for one 12-hour shift every 2 weeks)
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Floating: May be required to float to similar units within scope
- Block Schedule: Not accommodated
- Local Candidates: Not accepted (must live at least 50 miles from facility)
- Pending License: Accepted but must have license in hand for auto offer
- Time Off (RTO): Approved individually upon offer; all requests must be submitted with application
Unit Information
- OB Triage/Testing: 5-10 patients
- Labor & Delivery/Antepartum: 7-14 patients
- High-risk labor and delivery unit with multiple OR suites and PACU rooms
- Average daily deliveries: ~7, with up to 14 during inductions and high-risk antepartum cases

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience within the last year
- Current certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
