Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Day shift: 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- Floating and call required (call varies; no regular on-call schedule for Med-Surg except for census flex call prior to shift start if census is low)
- 36 hours per week
Unit Details
- Swing Bed unit with 154 beds
- Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 8 patients
- Scope of role includes general skilled nursing (SNF level of care) with Rehab and Med/Surg duties
- EMR system: MedHost
- Scrub color: Any color allowed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Mexico
- Minimum 1 year of Med Surg experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Rehabilitation experience
- BLS certification required
- Fingerprints required for all travelers to New Mexico (agency must be registered with the state for fingerprint processing)

- 48-hour guarantees are not approved
- Blocked scheduling may be accommodated if specified in submission
- Position requires floating within scope of practice and clinical competency
