Physical Therapist (Travel) - New Mexico
Job Details
- Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico
- Employment Type: Travel
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Days, Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM; Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM; one Saturday per month
- Hours per Week: 36
- Work Setting: Inpatient and outpatient clinic (greater need for inpatient)
- EMR Systems: ReDoc/NetHealth, MedHost
- Scrub Color: Any
- On Call: No
- 48-hour Guarantee: Not available
- Block Scheduling: Not available
Job Description
Physical therapists help patients reduce pain, improve or restore mobility, and prevent disability. They develop individualized treatment plans to promote movement, restore function, and teach patients how to manage or prevent conditions for long-term health benefits. PTs work in various settings including hospitals and outpatient clinics.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in New Mexico
- Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience
- Physical therapy experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience in inpatient settings
- Experience in outpatient settings
Additional Information
- Prior travel experience is not specified as required
- State licensure is mandatory for practice in New Mexico
