Physical Therapist (Travel) - New Mexico

Job Details

Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM; Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM; one Saturday per month
Hours per Week: 36
Work Setting: Outpatient clinic with inpatient needs (priority on inpatient)
EMR Systems: ReDoc/NetHealth, MedHost
Dress Code: Scrubs of any color
On Call: No
48-hour Guarantee: Not available
Block Scheduling: Not available

Job Description

Physical Therapists (PTs) help patients reduce pain, improve or restore mobility, and prevent disability. They develop individualized treatment plans to promote movement, restore function, and teach patients how to manage or prevent conditions for long-term health benefits. PTs work in various settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, and more.

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in New Mexico
Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapist experience
Physical Therapist experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience in an inpatient setting
Experience in an outpatient setting

Additional Information

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
State licensure must be valid for the state of practice (New Mexico)
