CT Tech - Radiology
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Unit: CT
- Number of Beds: 800
- Staff per Shift:
- Day Shift: 5 Technologists + Supervisor
- Evening Shift: 4-5 Technologists + Radiology Assistant
- Night Shift: 2-3 Technologists + Radiology Assistant
- Equipment: GE Optima, 3 GE EVO, GE Revolution, Medrad Injectors
- EMR Systems: Cerner Rad Net, Phillips PACs
Job Description
- Perform all areas of CT imaging including diagnostic scans and invasive procedures
- Experience with ED trauma and stroke imaging required
- Typical procedures include neuro, musculoskeletal (MSK), body imaging, invasive CT, cardiac imaging, and pediatric imaging
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in North Carolina
- CT Technologist with 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (R) Certification
- BLS Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GE equipment
- Experience in invasive CT, cardiac imaging, and venipuncture
Work Schedule
- Possible weekend shifts
- Possible rotation to other shifts
- Potential on-call requirement: approximately 12 hours per month
