Registered Nurse (CVICU) - Travel Position
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), step-down/progressive care (E4), and Cath lab recovery areas.
- Must be capable of managing ECMO, LVAD, and Cath lab recovery patients.
- Orientation includes a 4-hour hospital orientation followed by an 8-hour floor shift.
- Tobacco use is prohibited on all campus properties, including personal vehicles in designated parking areas.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience, including experience within the last year
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Additional Information
- Dress code for RNs: navy, white, or a combination of navy and white scrub colors.
- Timekeeping instructions involve specific clock-in/out codes for various shift types and activities.
This position is a travel assignment requiring specialized critical care nursing skills in cardiovascular and cath lab recovery settings.
