CT Tech - Radiology (Travel Position)

Location: Richmond, Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

Unit: CT
Number of Scanners: 2 (GE and Phillips)
Number of Staff: 7 full-time, 3 PRN
Shift Coverage (when fully staffed):
- Day Shift: 3 staff
- Evening Shift: 2 staff
- Night Shift: 1 staff
- Weekend Shift: 2 staff (12-hour shifts)
Patient Volume: 80-100 scans per day
Equipment: GE and Phillips CT scanners
EMR Systems: Meditech, GE Centricity PACS

Typical Procedures

Abdominal and Pelvic scans
Biopsies
Head, Spine, Brain imaging
Chest scans
CT Angiographies (CTAs)

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in Virginia
Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
ARRT (CT) certification
BLS certification
Successful completion of CT Technologist Assessment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with GE or Phillips CT equipment

Work Environment & Expectations

Dress Code: Navy scrubs
Weekend and On-call: 24-hour weekend call required

No floating to other areas
This is a travel assignment position
