CT Tech - Radiology (Travel Assignment)

Location: Austin, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36

Job Overview

• Travel position for a CT Technologist specializing in CAT Scan.
• No call required.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with high-acuity, critically ill patients including trauma and stroke cases.
• Unit staffed with 100+ imaging techs and interventional radiology nurses.
• Night shift typically has 3 CT/Radiology techs and 1 Ultrasound/MRI tech.
• Equipment primarily GE brand.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Texas
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications such as RDMS, NMTCB, ACLS, or modality-specific licenses are a plus.
• Experience in a high-acuity, fast-paced hospital setting.

Work Environment & Culture

• Unit is part of Imaging Services located on the 1st floor.
• Rotating weekends.
• Limited to no call requirements.
• Dress code: Olive scrub tops and black pants.
• Emphasis on teamwork, professionalism, and adaptability.
• The unit values strong personalities who can handle super sick patients with high acuity.
