Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab (Travel Assignment)

Location: Sierra Vista, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Weekly Hours: 40 hours (36 guaranteed)

Call Requirements: On call >12 days, weekends on call

Job Summary

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab within an adult patient population.
• Support diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures including vascular embolization, ports, vascular stenting, and nephrostomy tube care.
• Occasional involvement in interventional radiology (IR) procedures.
• Float occasionally to IR as needed.
• Participate in cath lab activities including stress testing, TEE, and tilt table testing.
• Use equipment such as GE fluoroscopy and hemodynamics systems (transitioning to CHANGE).
• Electronic Health Record system: Cerner.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona.
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Experience with vascular embolization, ports, vascular stenting, and nephrostomy tube care.
• Experience in Interventional Radiology.

Unit and Work Environment

• Facility has 90 beds.
• Cath Lab department with a focus on adult patients.
• Scrubs and dress code provided by hospital.
• Orientation provided bi-weekly.

Additional Notes

• Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel status.
• The role requires flexibility for on-call shifts and occasional IR procedure coverage.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.
