**Exciting Opportunity for Hospice Registered Nurse!** **Job Description:** - Join a dedicated team as a Hospice RN, providing meaningful patient care. - Work a unique schedule: - Monday night at 5 PM through the following Monday morning at 8 AM - 7 nights on, followed by 7 nights off - Flexibility to manage your workload: - Make visits as assigned and respond to overflow from daytime shifts - Be available for PRN visits as determined by our triage nurse - Enjoy a balance of work and restful evenings: - Engage in patient care for an average of 40-50 hours in a week - Remain reachable and responsive without the need to stay awake all night - Requirements: - AHA BLS certification required - Minimum of 3 years of community hospice experience - Excellent typing skills for narrative-heavy EMR documentation - Strong critical thinking skills for complex symptom management and education - Comfort initiating and participating in goals of care discussions - Proficient in medication management and administration (IV, subcutaneous, oral, sublingual, rectal, and other routes) **Additional Information:** - Orientation available bi-weekly on Mondays - No block schedules are offered - Employment history must be complete for submission (including bed count, EMR, facility type) - Ensure all employment gaps over 30 days are explained - Covid and Flu declinations accepted (proof or declination documentation required) - Reliable personal or rental transportation is essential; vehicles should have all-season or snow tires from November to April **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
