Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (either 6:45 AM–7:15 PM or 9:00 AM–9:30 PM)
Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks (may be called off for 1 shift per 2 weeks)
Weekend Requirement: Yes
Floating: May float to similar units within scope if needed
Block Schedule: Not accommodated
Local Candidates: Not accepted (must live at least 50 miles from facility)
First Time Travelers: Not accepted

Magnet facility, Level II Trauma center
Uses Epic for charting

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Alaska
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including OR experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
