**Exciting Opportunity for Acute M/S Tele RN!** **Job Description:** - Join a dynamic team that provides exceptional care in a Med-Surg/Telemetry unit! - Minimum of every other weekend commitment and adaptable scheduling to meet unit needs. - Get hands-on experience with: - NG tube insertion - Peripheral IV insertion - Telemetry strip interpretation at the bedside - Requirements: - Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications - NIHSS certification prior to starting - Telemetry certification preferred - Minimum of 5 years of med-surg tele experience OR 3 years of dedicated tele experience - Prior travel experience is essential - Ability to demonstrate completed two travel assignments in facilities with 300+ beds or previous experience in UVMHN acute care facilities - EPIC experience within the last two years is mandatory - Additional Information: - Work schedule: Monday to Sunday - No block scheduling allowed - Ensure all employment gaps over 90 days are explained - Complete work history details are required for submission - Important Note: - Public transportation is NOT accessible; reliable transportation is a must (personal/rental vehicle recommended) **Unit Highlights:** - Total Unit Beds/Suites: 51 - Nurse-Patient Ratio: 3-5 days; 4-6 nights - CNA/PCT Support: Yes, with assigned ratios - Charge Nurse: Available 24/7 without patient assignment - Orientation: 1-2 precepted shifts plus time with educators before patient contact - Patient Population: Diverse adult patients, including telemetry, post-op ortho, urology, COPD, CHF, diabetes, dementia, and end-of-life care - Special Equipment: - Sigma IV pumps, CAAD PCA pumps, and more - Collaborate with a tight-knit team dedicated to seamless patient care. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
