Location: Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

• Acute-care hospital with 345 beds
• Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Centers
• Only cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, and pediatric intensive care units in the area

• ACR accredited in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Mammography

Unit Specifics

• Department: Radiology, CT Unit
• Number of Beds: 400
• Average 180 CT exams per day using 3 scanners
• Staffing: 2 techs per scanner during the day; 3 techs overnight
• Equipment: GE 512, GE 128, GE 32 slice CT scanners
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Patient focus: Emergency Department (ED) and Inpatient (IP) only, compassionate care model

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine CT exams independently for ED and IP patients
• Procedures include trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CT angiography (CTA)
• Ability to operate GE CT equipment independently

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
