CT Tech Travel Opportunity
Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, Monday - Thursday, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Hours per Week: 36
Call: 4 days of call per month
Job Description
- Perform professional, timely, and accurate diagnostic CT examinations of specific anatomy as prescribed by the referring physician.
- Provide CT care to patients to obtain diagnostic quality radiographs for radiologist interpretation.
- Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
- Demonstrate proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
- Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy is required.
- Work under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in New Mexico
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in CT
- Experience as an X-Ray Technician

- No floating required.
- 48-hour grace hours are not approved.
- Scrub color: Any.
- EMR system used: Medhost.
- Auto offers only; no interviews.
