Registered Nurse - OR (Surgery Unit)

Location: Hendersonville, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Overview

Unit: Surgery (RN)
Number of Beds: 10
Patient Ratio: 1 RN per surgery
Staffing: 11 RN positions, supported by unit secretaries and techs
Equipment: Surgical
Documentation System: MEDITECH
Scheduling: 24-hour coverage
Floating Policy: Not applicable
Patient Experience Role: RN Circulating

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
ACLS certification
BLS certification
De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting

Additional Information

Dress Code: Ceil blue scrubs
Unit follows hospital policies and guidelines
No prior travel experience required or specified
No floating expected on this unit
