Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Eureka, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Preferred experience in postpartum care
First-time travelers are welcome
Weekend work required to meet staffing needs
Float requirement: Travelers may be asked to float within their scope to meet facility needs
Patient load: Approximately 20 visits per day
Unit size: 11 rooms/beds, average daily census 15-20
Care for high-risk obstetrics and culturally diverse populations
RNs circulate on cesarean sections

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
