Registered Nurse - Telemetry (Travel)

Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Unit: 9 Tower Medical/Telemetry
- Beds: 29
- Staff per shift: 8 (5 RNs and 3 Patient Care Techs on both day and night shifts)
- Patient ratio: Approximately 1:6 (not guaranteed)
- Equipment: PCA pumps, IV pumps
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Meditech
Work Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kansas
- Telemetry experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Meditech EMR

- Management of central lines
- Administration of medication drips

- Independent with strong critical thinking skills
- Prior patient care experience is a priority
