Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Nurse (Night Shift)
Location: Torrance, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Support the PM shift with strong caregiving skills.
- Must be flexible to work weekends (weekend requirement depends on contract length).
- May be required to float between units, including mother-baby and possibly to a nearby acute care hospital.
- Charting system used: Epic.
- Free parking available.
- Scrub color: Any color allowed.
Shift Details
- Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (3 shifts per week)
- 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week guaranteed (facility may call off once per two-week pay period).
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience, with experience within the last year
- ACLS (American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation)
- AWHONN Advanced Certification
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
