Registered Nurse (NICU) - Travel Assignment
Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Weekend Days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), 3 AM – 3 PM
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Schedule: Block scheduling
Call Requirements: None
Floating: Required; may float to assist in other areas but will not take assignments in other units
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Care for a range of patients from stable feeder growers to critically ill Level 3 NICU patients
- Patient ratio ranges from 1:1 to 1:3
- Unit size: 40 beds
- Orientation: 2 shifts of 12 hours each
- Scrub color: Navy blue
- Electronic Medical Record system: Cerner
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana
- Minimum 2 years of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience, including experience within the last year
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Valid Driver’s License
