Infusion RN - Day Shift (Vermont)

Job Type

Contract position
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift (40 hours/week)
Start: ASAP, with orientation starting on a Wednesday

Location

St Johnsbury, Vermont
Rural community setting
Reliable personal transportation required (no public transit or rideshare available)
Travelers responsible for securing their own housing; local housing resources can be provided

Role Overview

Provide direct clinical care and administrative support in a busy infusion center (15-20 patients per day)
Administer intravenous therapies safely and compassionately
Coordinate infusion services including scheduling, prior authorizations, and clinical order reviews
Communicate effectively with providers, payers, and care teams
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and document teaching efforts
Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records and medication/transfusion logs

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Vermont
Minimum 2 years of infusion nursing experience, including infusion experience within the last year
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
