Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Assignment
Location: Kennewick, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Overview
- Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Unit: Medical ICU (14 beds)
- Patient Population: Medical ICU patients including sepsis, respiratory issues, some cardiac and trauma cases
- Patient Ratio: 1:2 (nurse to patient)
- Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Call: None required
- Equipment: Occasional use of Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: Paragon
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Washington Suicide Prevention certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Work Environment & Culture
- Team-oriented environment valuing accountability and best practices
- Medical ICU with minimal cardiac patients
- No block schedules
- Float requirements not specified

- Facility is a teaching hospital with 111 beds
