Registered Nurse (Med Surg) - Travel Assignment
Location: Lewiston, Idaho
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) in Medical-Surgical unit
- Shift: Nights
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
- Weekend Hours: Approximately 50%
- Call: No extra call except possible low census call
- Patient Population: Adult and geriatric
- Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 5 patients
- Unit Beds: 30
- Equipment: Remote telemetry available
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Meditech
- Float: Required to float to other departments except ICU and OB
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Idaho
- Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Experience with common diagnoses such as pneumonia (PNA), post-surgical care, and alcohol-related conditions (ETOH)
- Kind and willing to help coworkers
