Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery (Travel)

Location: Florence, Alabama
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Employment Type: Travel

Position Overview

Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
Department: Labor and Delivery
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
Unit: 3rd Floor, 9 beds, Adult patient population
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Float Requirement: Postpartum unit

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama
Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
Postpartum experience
Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Work Environment and Culture

Weekly orientation on Mondays
EHR systems used: Centricity, Meditech
Personality fit: Adaptability, Team Player, Attention to Detail, Stamina, Strong Communication Skills, Empathy
Dress code: Ceil blue scrubs only; no scrubs with slogans, graphics, or offensive content; appropriate footwear required
