Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Florence, Alabama. The healthcare provider is seeking a highly skilled RN with experience in fetal monitoring, postpartum care, and emergency response. The role involves working an overnight shift and provides an opportunity to contribute to postpartum and labor unit patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, certifications in ACLS or ALS-OB, NRP, EFM, and BLS.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with fetal assessment, postpartum care, and emergency response.
• Additional Information: Weekly orientation on Mondays is required. Candidates must be able to start 7-10 days after offer acceptance. The unit has 9 beds with patient ratios of 1:1, and the unit primarily handles normal spontaneous labor, preterm labor, gestational hypertension, preeclampsia, placenta previa, placental abruption, fetal distress, umbilical cord prolapse, and postpartum hemorrhage. The EHR systems used are Centricity and Meditech. Staff must adhere to the dress code in scrub color background Ceil Blue and maintain professional attire.
