CT Tech (Radiology) - Travel Position
Location: Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Information
- Worksite: Free-Standing Emergency Department (ED) only (no outpatient or inpatient imaging)
- Number of Beds: Free-Standing ED only
- Staffing: 1 CT/Radiology Tech per shift
- Shifts Available: Day and Night
- Patient Volume: Approximately 10-20 CT radiology exams per shift
- Equipment Used: GE 64 Slice CT, GE Digital X-ray, GE portable x-ray
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Call Requirement: 2 call shifts per month
Typical Procedures
- Routine CT scans
- Diagnostic X-ray procedures for a small free-standing ED
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina
- ARRT Radiologic Technologist Certification
- South Carolina Radiologic Technologist License (SCQRSA Certification)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Radiology Technologist experience
Additional Preferences
- Proficiency in both CT and diagnostic radiology
- Ability to function well independently in a fast-paced environment
